Kristin Hartman was born in Västerås, Sweden. She came to the United States at a young age and lived in North and South Carolina before she moved to California. She currently resides in Granite Bay, California with her husband and two daughters.
Hartman’s work is inspired by natural scenery, namely trees. Her emphasis on light, texture, and movement within the paintings creates a lively mood that brings each landscape to life.
